Additional Cast for 'Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?' Movie Announced

The official LINE blog for Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka? anime film has revealed additional cast members. The movie is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on August 18.

Nazuna's Mother: Takako Matsu (Brave Story)
Miura-sensei: Kana Hanazawa (3-gatsu no Lion)
Junichi: Shintaro Asanuma (Seitokai Yakuindomo)
Kazuhiro: Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Durarara!!)
Minoru: Yuki Kaji (Nanatsu no Taizai)

The movie centers on a group of boys who visit a summer festival to determine whether fireworks look round of flat from the side. Meanwhile, Norimichi, one of the boys, receives an invitation from his crush Nazuna to run away with her.

Looks like Akio Watanabe character designs (correct me if I'm wrong) and that's just going to remind me of when they raped Grisaia, taking a wait and see approach with this.

Edit: Oh, it's Shaft, that explains the Watanabe input. Would be a pass, but I noticed it premieres on my birthday so I'll take it as a sign to watch it I guess.

So is this one of those love triangles where one of the guys is more prominent or do we not know until the end?

I could also see it being one of those where she doesn't end up with either.

I feel bad for both guys.

I think this is supposed to be based on a movie from the 90s.

My hype for this is through the roof. Nobuyuki Takeuchi is finally debuting as a director after years and I mean YEARS working at SHAFT and animating scenes for Miyazaki films. It's going to be an honor to see this film.

We finally get to see Akio's designs on the big screen since kizu wasn't his design. I am excited all around. Glad to see Kana Hanazawa in that cast list. It wouldn't be a shaft project without her!
