TV Anime 'UQ Holder!: Mahou Sensei Negima! 2' Additional Cast Members Announced
The official website for UQ Holder!: Mahou Sensei Negima! 2 has announced additional cast members. The cast members from Mahou Sensei Negima! series will reprise their roles. The anime is slated for Fall 2017.New Cast
Yukihime: Yuki Matsuoka (Evangeline Athanasia Katherine McDowell in Mahou Sensei Negima!)
Kuroumaru Tokisaka: Yuuki Hirose (Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu)
Kirie Sakurame: Ai Kayano (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata)
Karin Yuuki: Yui Ogura (Hinako Note)
Returning Cast
Negi Springfield: Rina Satou
Sayo Aiba: Yuri Shiratori
Yue Ayase: Natsuko Kuwatani
Asuna Kagurazaka: Akemi Kanda
Chachamaru Karakuri: Akeno Watanabe
Makie Sasaki: Yui Horie
Mana Tatsumiya: Miho Sakuma
Nodoka Miyazaki: Mamiko Noto
Ayaka Yukihiro: Junko Minagawa
Fate Averruncus: Akira Ishida
A net radio show for the anime will be streamed on animate Times starting June 25 with Yuka Takakura (Touta Konoe) and Yuuki Hirose (Kuromaru Tokisaka) as the hosts.

Will Ikku, Santa and Cutlass appear in this adaptation? I know it's still June and I guess there'll be more info about the anime adpation until then, but I'm fearing the worst...

Unless they skipped most of the part and jump to the current arc.

Well I think it is already hinted the Anime version will having a filler story more than follow the manga since the poster was revealed, with this cast list it was proved even more that it was a filler story. If there are really follow the manga one, it has a lot of different/problems:

Well I kind of had the same reason to say that it looks like beign mostly anime original :p. Looking at the cast and the poster especially.
That's a sad news really. Negima fully deserved a proper adaptation, far more than tons of shounen battle out there.
Instead it got 2 series and none of the two was a proper adaptation, and now its sequel is following the same path? That plain sucks.

Will Ikku, Santa and Cutlass ever appear in this adaptation? I know it's still June and maybe there'll be more info until then, but I'm fearing the worst...
