TV Anime 'Ballroom e Youkoso' Additional Cast Members Announced

The official website for Ballroom e Youkoso TV anime has announced additional cast members and revealed a new preview. The anime is slated for Summer 2017 via MBS, Tokyo MX, BS11 and more channels.

MAPPA is the worst studio for me too. ^^

but was is not the stories they chose or made that was the problem? I mean MAPPA is not a favorite of mine either but when it's about drawing beautiful athletic men and women, I think they are among the bests and they impressed me lately with their art in YoI and SnB virgin soul. I'm already not so sure about the character designs chosen for Ballroom e Youkoso, it doesn't come closed to the manga already but that was inevitable I guess, I would just have preferred something nearer to MAPPA's victor, charioce or azazel but well, it is just nit picking from me. And since the story is good and about sport, the studio wouldn't go completely wrong following closely the original material.

Still about the art, I wonder how they will manage the dresses. That can become a lot of work for the animators. Looking forward anyway.

That must have been this obligatory "MC must see female character in underwear to attract shonen readers at the start of the manga". True that when I see that, I automatically think it will be mediocre but the development of the story proved me wrong, above all with the 2 -3 last arcs. I wish the anime make it beyond the chapter 40 but it doesn't look like it :(

I thought the same thing when I was reading it. I expected it to continue showing things like that but the story just improved over time. The anime, I expect will be good :3

The manga has resumed again since January/February. If this does end up as a 2-cour, I'm expecting it to go a bit beyond the current chapters and completely caught up with the manga at the end of its run in order to finish up the current arc since that seems like a big arc with no good stopping point in-between.

This could potentially be really well-done, or end up like Yuri!!! on Ice and be a mild disappointment. Hopefully it's the former. It needs the two-cour treatment. fingers crossed
