Seiyuu & Singer Sayaka Kanda Announces Marriage

Seiyuu and Singer Sayaka Kanda has announced on her Instagram account that she has married. Her spouse is actor Mitsu Murata. Both of them performed live-action stage adaptation of Danganronpa (Danganronpa The Stage) together last Summer.

Known as daughter of actor Masaki Kanda and singer Seiko Matsuda, Kanda's first seiyuu job was Japanese dub version of Anna from Disney movie Frozen (Ana to Yuki no Jouou), which she received Best Actress of 9th Seiyuu Awards. She also voiced Nadeshiko Adenokouji from Binbougami ga!, Miyako Shinomiya from Juuou Mujin no Fafnir, Shioji from Gamba: Gamba to Nakama-tachi, Yuuna Shigemura from Sword Art Online Movie: Ordinal Scale, and most recent role as Terasa from Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202: Ai no Senshi-tachii OVA / Movie series.

She is mainly active as stage actress, but is also active as narrator and singer. She was a vocalist of duo band Trustrick which previously announced to go indefinite hiatus.

Though she's mostly active as a singer and not as a seiyuu she still does a great job when she does do voice acting. Loved both her performances in both portraying the character of Yuna in Sword art online the movie Ordinal Scale and also in singing her songs as well.

Well I loved her performance as Kaede Akamatsu in DRV3. This is the second time Danganronpa stage play actors got married, the first being Gundham and Sonia's. Looks like despair brought them together and I hope for their everlasting happiness.

Sayaka Kanda mostly sings and acts so that's why she's barely active as a seiyuu but it looks like she's been getting more roles lately.

That's real nice lol..... clearly people do care though. Yes, she's barely active. Being a band probably had a lot to do with that. She's been doing solo stuff now and was in one of the biggest anime films of recent time. I hope she's able to bounce off that and get even more roles from here on out. And I really hope TRUSTRICK ends hiatus sooner than later...such a great combination her voice is with Billy's guitar.

For those wo wanna know which character she played in Danganronpa's stage play, it were Ikusaba and Enoshima.

In Danganronpa V3, she voiced Akamatsu, the apparent protagonist of the game.

As a member of TRUSTRICK, she not only did endings of the stage plays, but also the opening of Danganronpa 3: Mirai-hen along with Maon Kurosaki.

Strange, I was just looking at those information yesterday.
