English Dub Cast for 'Himouto! Umaru-chan' Announced

American anime licensor Sentai Filmworks streamed a video announcing the dub cast for Doga Kobo's Himouto! Umaru-chan. Kyle Jones will direct and write the script.

Other voice actors with their roles unannounced include Vic Mignogna, Jay Hickman, John Swasey, Shanae'a Moore, Katelyn Barr, Allison Sumrall, Carli Mosier, and Kregg Dailey.

Himouto! Umaru-chan adapts the manga by SankakuHead that has been serialized since March 2013. The first season aired in Summer 2015, and was simulcast by Crunchyroll. An unaired episode 13 was bundled with the manga's seventh volume in October 2015. A second OVA was bundled with the tenth compiled volume on April 19. Sentai Filmworks will release the anime in Blu-ray and DVD volumes, as well as a premium box edition on May 30. A second season has been announced for Fall 2017.

I saw the preview for Umaru's dub casting and to me Umaru sounds even more annoying than she does in Japanese.

Why couldn't Melissa Fahn play Umaru?

I'll probably watch this one dubbed since my brother wants it.

Personally, I'm waiting for the Ushio and Tora dub cast announcement.

I have to agree with you on that as well. I haven't heard the Japanese voices for this show but the guy's voice does not fit.....at all. He sounds way too old.

I haven't got to watch it but I might check it out and who knows if I like it enough I might buy it possibly the collectors even

didn't watch the anime but if i do i may watch it with the dub just because of the yelling at the end but the guy voice is awful
