'K: Seven Stories' to Have Seven Movies

It has been announced via "Daisuke Namikawa 'K' Kizuna Kinkyuu Shuukai" Nico Live and Line Live broadcast on Saturday that K: Seven Stories will get seven movies premiering in Japanese theaters starting Summer 2018. The temporary titles that revealed via the official website, not in order, are as follows:

K: Seven Stories Based on Side: Blue
K: Seven Stories Based on Lost Small World
K: Seven Stories Based on R:B
K: Seven Stories Based on Side: Green
K: Seven Stories Based on Memory of Red
K: Seven Stories Based on Idol K
K: Seven Stories Based on New Story

K Project is original anime series by GoRA×GoHands. It received two TV series in Fall 2012 and Fall 2015. The K: Missing Kings movie premiered in Summer 2014, which takes place between two TV series. As previously announced, Shingo Suzuki will direct and be in charge of character design of the new movies.

It seems like a special show "「K SEVEN STORIES」Special Program「K FOR BEGINNERS」" has been aired on TV recently. A clip w. content that revealed first time (I think?) w. OP revealed.

According to the show, it says eps.1-5 is prequel to first season, while ep.6 is sequel to second season.

angela will be performing OP and all EDs of the movies. The titles of the EDs are the same as the subtitles of the movie.

More K? That's cool.
I've enjoyed the anime a lot. Even bought it on DVD. The movie Missing Kings was okay but something you just watch when you like the characters and story at all. This movies will definitely get a bit of my time when they release.

I remember thinking season one was okay, but I never watched the sequel. Seven movies just seems daunting.

Money, probably. Fans pay to see it at theaters, maybe even multiple times, and then also buy the BDs down the line.

Oh man! Why's most Blue and Red stories? Even though they are clans that I personally have no interest...

No K Side: Black & White? Why?? It's the best story, so why's not included?? Will I at least see Hakumaitou on Idol K? Still curious about that New Story >.>

Eh.. Why no K Side: Black & White? :( And I would rather Dream of Green instead of Side Green. Side Green's main character is Sukuna... But I'm hoping we get to see each one of the Jungle members, especially Nagare. It's mostly the reds and blues :/ which I honestly have no interest in. I'd like to see Idol K though(wasn't it only like a short chapter or something..?) And that New Story.. Whatever it is..

I was so worried when they said a Movie and I was upset cause I thought they were going to cram 6 novels + a new story into 1 movie, but this is great! I just hope there isn't like a year break in between. xD

Edit: all the character development happens in these novels/manga fyi. And it will let you better understand the characters when re-watching the TV series and movie. Although it probably won't go in-depth as the original material though.

I like anime movies but the ungodly delay between when they're released in Japan and when we get to watch them is really annoying hoping they release these pretty quickly

Ew, no thanks. I only got through the first season of that crap because I liked Kuroh, Shiro, and Neko. The rest of this, dare I say, franchise, is full of the same jerks, losers, and tropes that I've been sick of for years. Stop trying to turn K into a thing!
