Seiyuu Duo YuiKaori to Pause Activity

The official website of Seiyuu Duo YuiKaori has announced that they will pause their music activities on June 30, 2017 and go solo.

Composed of seiyuu Yui Ogura and Kaori Ishihara, YuiKaori is a seiyuu unit that formed in September 2009 singing ending theme song of Kiss x Sis (TV) with "Our Steady Boy." They also sang theme songs to Joukamachi no Dandelion, Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Stride Gate-hen, and Akiba's Trip The Animation. Both members were also active as StylipS members until 2013. Yui Ogura is also very active in seiyuu artist by herself.

I cried so hard after they announced that they will pause their activities.but Im so happy that ishihara kaori joined style cube that means she's now with noto arisa!! I hope she will annouce soon her solo debut and turn back to stylips with ito miku and noto arisa and moe toyota it has been along time since stylips realeased a music video .about ogura yui she has solo acitivities since 2012 and was the one who starts the (yuikaori) music with her line and the one who lead yuikaori and being unfair i love her and its not her fault its the company fault that they gave ogura yui alot of atention while ishihara kaori has nothing to do .sorry for my bad english ..

At least they are still friends and Kaori just went back to her old agency. Yui and Kaori will pull through just fine.

For those who loves such Japanese music, and interested in these girls, they have 2 nice full-length albums called Puppy(2011) and Bunny(2013). Also Ogura Yui has fine solo album called Strawberry JAM(2015).

By the way, Sigma Seven also posted an announcement of Kaori Ishihara leaving the agency. Not sure it is the reason that YuiKaori is in suspension

, or if YuiKaori will back in their action after she's taken care of her next step (as "休止" is used this time instead of "卒業" like every♥ing!'s announcement).

Edit: Reread the source, it says they will go solo, but what I mentioned above is still not sure (at least "just simply deciding on solo activity" might be true). - as in, still worries about Kaori Ishihara's position because it doesn't say where she switched to or if she went free or another possibility.

Edit 2: Kaori Ishihara has moved back to Style Cube.
