Manga 'Kuzu no Honkai' Gets Bangai-hen

Monthly Big Gangan vol.4, which includes the final chapter of Kuzu no Honkai manga, has announced that a serialization of bangai-hen (temporary title) has been planned. More information will be revealed in future issues.

Kuzu no Honkai has been serialized in Big Gangan by Mengo Yokoyari from September 2012 to March 2017. The series has been compiled into eight volumes in total, and the final volume shipped on March 25. The manga received both TV anime and live-action TV drama adaptations, which aired simultaneously in Winter 2017.

For all the cumbersome monologues the animation had (no idea if the manga did the same), the story severely lacked Hanai's point of view/introspection. It only made him look like the most stupid and superficial character of the manga, a weird injection from some US romcom movie (I like those but it doesn't fit here).
So, a one-shot featuring this might help 'patching things up".

In general, if I understand correctly, is planned something like additional chapters or epilogue? It would be nice, the last chapter was superficial.

Could totally do with a side story expanding upon Kanai, his relationship with his mother and reasons for loving Akane unconditionally. Perhaps even showing a bit of Kanai and Akane's lives after they're married.

And of course the continuation of Ecchan and Atsuya's relationship. I ship it.

I second this. Extra chapters (bangai-hen) are welcome, but I'd rather see ones focused on the supporting characters that didn´t get any spotlight.
