rotoscope animation is not a crime. However - the editing of flash backs, spirit world scenes , real world scenes, and hallucinations make this story difficult to follow... Rin(1) a blond college student can see bug spirits that haunt her apartment complex. Local murders makes Rin(1) believes she is being stalked by a killer. A Monk gives her a charm to ward off demons. A Librarian warns Rin(1) of the Red moth demon. Rin(1) sees a dancing black hair girl who later is reveal is also named Rin(2) and who later is revealed to be a Red Moth demon who pushes Rin(1) into the spirit world. Rin(1) falls into a movie theater where a WWII film document human experiments to create demons that chase Rin(1) until she is captured and chained inside an electrically charged sphere. When the sphere explodes Rin(1) remembers being killed by Rin(2) as a child and then Rin(2) redeeming her life/spirit to save Rin(1) . Rin(1) realizes she has the power to destroy demons and becomes a white moth spirit killing a demon in the process.. Rin(1) wakes up to a city being overrun by demon bugs. Criticism: The story could have dramatically done better by establishing a Rin(1) x Rin(2) relationship or by provided more of a story arc for Rin(1) memory loss and how it was regained

I think the ugly CGI is kind of the point, as "pleasant" or "attractive" don't tend to be things that I would include when talking about the genre of Horror. The designs of the characters are supposed to look creepy

looks interesting. i'm surprised that so many people hate it already. the cgi is strangely not bothering me.

I usually don't have anything against CG but that movie looks like utter trash. It might be a masterpiece storywise (not that I care) but the visuals are a big no-no.

People judge anime from animation, even though CGI is not bad one you get used to it. Knights of Sidonia and Ajin 2nd season were both very good, and they used CGI

Well yeah it's being a bit judgemental, but the thing is it gives a bad impression in that sense, as for Knights of Sidonia and Ajin, I liked one of them, the other was... pretty bad imo.

Oh god, the CGI looks horrendous. It feels like something straight out of Berserk 2016. And judging by the trailer, the plot looks like it's going to be a mess. Count me out!

Poor guy. He makes it all by himself and it doesnt even look good :/

Can't be worst than Ao Oni's movie.

Oh hey, something that actually kinda resembles horror...

That butchered body and bug exploding from her arm... and look at this! (from the crowd-funding page) :O

CGI is so mainstream in anime that japan's economy is dropping like a falling rock.

Amazing how that one guy is doing everything, props for putting all that work into his movie.

Will check it out for sure only cause of that to support the man.

Those numbers came straight out of Steins;Gate.

That horror statement is correct, what frightening cgi "shivers in fear".

Yeah this CGI isn't giving me a good impression really. I didn't felt like this since Berserk 2016 Lol. But yeah this is not going well, especially with the frame rate and how the designs actually looks like (my main issue is the designs which gives a horrible vibe to it and in a bad way for my eyes too xD)
