4-koma Manga 'Tsurezure Children' Receives TV Anime Adaptation

The 11th issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that 4-koma manga Tsurezure Children (Tedium Children) will receive a TV anime in Summer 2017.

Tsurezure Children is a 4-koma romantic-comedy manga by Toshiya Wakabayashi. It started off as a web manga and doujinshi referred to as Wakabayashi Toshiya's 4-koma Collection in October 2012. The series began its official serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in 2014 with redrawn scenes and was later transferred to Weekly Shounen Magazine. The manga has six compiled volumes in print, with the seventh and latest volume releasing on February 17.

Definitely gonna watch. This manga is internal-scream-worthy funny as fook. The dry humor, misunderstanding humor, tsukkomi-worthy humor, basically all types of humor from the characters is just pure enjoyment. I just hope all the great jokes manage to translate onto the adaptation properly.

Some really good guy on batoto give his best effort to make character sheets... So even I, didn't remember most of characters straight away... I even oftenly reread the chapter where they appear... The translator also starting to mention what currently couple on focus in the chapters title... lOl...

Haven't read a chapter in a while since the different chapter numbering between the magazine and doujin version left me confused. It'll be nice to check this one out again.

Pretty excited for this although yeah, nobody has pointed out that the director behind this series is the guy who did Seikon no Quaser, which as you might have guess, Seikon is pretty damn high on dose of fanservice and ecchi, I'm not even joking (but even then the show was so fun yet stupid, loved that shit).

Script Writer... Eh, I think it works for how its worth because I assume this is a SoL/Romance type of series so it works, character designer and studio selection are nice, since I loved Yuri Kuma Arashi's character designs, and Studio Gokumi (they did Yuuki Yuuna and Kiniro Mosaic and others, so it should be nice to see)

Yay! More romance manga adaptation is always a good thing but to actually adapt an adorable one as this is hard to find these days! Looking forward to the anime version! I read the manga for a while and I have to say it's been very cute! :)

butstill.. happy 2 of my favorite 4 koma got adapted in a wekk (after aho girl)...

Um, why should they make it 1 couple per episode? They could just put multiple couples per episode in multiple segments and adapt normally from the manga while adding some original-anime stuff to help ease out the pace and whatnot.

Well, there's always a chance for them to mess up but I hardly doubt it for a series like this one that mainly focuses on character relationships and romance.

sorry, probably because i am jumped to conclusion based on picture that showed couple that already showed more than 3 times...

i simply think that normal adaptation is gonna make anime viewer harder to become invested in character since anime viewer didn't used to this kind of approach (jumbled lot of character at early and not developed properly until later, remember mayoiga?)...

the confusion happened because there is wakabayashi toshiya 4-koma (which web version of this) and they are translated by different group.. if you read both of them, i think you wildn't miss anything.. also i suggest to read it in batoto or their scanlation site instead usual manga site i don't remember they licenced or not..
