4-koma Manga 'Aho Girl' Gets TV Anime Adaptation for Summer 2017

This year's March issue of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine, releasing on February 9, 2017, revealed that an anime adaptation of 4-koma Aho Girl has been green-lit for Summer 2017. The staff members were also revealed.

Synopsis
This 4-koma style manga features Yoshiko, a genuinely stupid girl (she can even manage to get all 0's on multiple choice tests). She hangs out at school with her childhood friend, who she claims to like, and he has to put up with all her ridiculous behavior! (Source: MangaHelpers)

my only hope for the studio is that their the one's the made mondaji and NouCome (the Erabe anime)

I sincerely hope this gains traction, more so on Tumblr because of the inevitable sh1tstorm on seeing the Male MC absolutely beat the sh1it out of the main girl.

almost literally every other new anime that comes out nowadays will have the girl beat up the guy, so it's honestly refreshing that it's the opposite this time

They assume it's short because Mangaka-san anime episodes were half of normal ones. So not complete short but same time format like Cromartie or Muromi-san.

this has 8 volume already IIRC... it's the translation that got pretty far behind (4 volume or so, check baka update...) so the amount of source isn't a problem (well, probablaly still need filler "conclusion")... not to mention it 4-koma that need to adjusted when they adapted to anime ... that's why 4-koma adaptatiob usually adapted less amount of volume compare normal kind of manga...

Well, more 4-koma adaptations are always welcome honestly. And well if its something like Mangaka-san to Assistant-san, I wouldn't mind it since I personally thought that series was good.

Hmm... ok, it sounds stupid enough for me to try. I'm pretty sure the comedy will get stale after a couple of episodes, especially if all the jokes are around this girl’s stupidity. I could be wrong though...

I'm still waiting for my Yugami-kun ni wa Tomodachi ga Inai adaption...
