Seiyuu Rina Satou wrote an entry reflecting what she has been experienced in 2016 on her blog and mentioned that she has married and already gave birth.

Satou's notable roles are Mikoto Misaka from Toaru series and Negi Springfield from Negima series. She also voiced Kaoru Tanamachi from Amagami SS series, Rei Hino from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal series, Ema Hinata from Brothers Conflict, Haruka Minami from Minami-ke series and more.

Darn, I just finished Amagami SS over Christmas too. Congrats!

I've really enjoyed her voicing in comedy anime - there's a reason why she's one of my favourite seiyuu. Hopefully she'll continue to grace us with her presence. Neptunia needs its Vert!

This sealed the deal, no more hoping for both Railgun S3 and Index S3. We can add both anime to Eternal Waiting for S3 list, which also features Haruhi, Spice and Wolf etc etc etc

Really, really happy for her! She is one of my fav seiyuus (amazing voice, with a really big range) and I'm so glad she has had a children. Wow, who would think Mikoto Misaka would have a baby one day.

Her husband should be really happy, he is a really lucky guy.

Hope hear her this new year too (well, considering the second season of Blue Exorcist is here...)

Reading about this pregnancy, somehow reminded me of that one scene where Misaka talks about where babies come from in full "know-it-all" mode. It was really funny. Especially the part where she went full tsundere explanation with the "stop, stop" and "but then the dad... you know right". Misaka is the best! Hopefully she will still continue her seiyuu work for a long time (at least for another season of Index/Railgun ;_;)

Wow, didn't expect that since she is always active in each 2016 seasons (kiznaiver, sailor moon, brave witches, jojo, etc). I thought pregnant women would be usually absent from their work for a certain period.

Anyway, congrats to Satou Rina. Hope she will have a happy family and keep continuing her work as seiyuu.

When you realize she gave the sexy voice of Kaoru, the innocent voice of Taki and the laid-back voice of Dagashi-ya you know what an amazing Seiyuu she has been!
