Manga 'Jikan no Shihaisha' Receives TV Anime in 2017

A website launched by Shueisha on Saturday has announced that manga Jikan no Shihaisha (Chronos Ruler) will receive a TV anime in 2017.

Synopsis
The story centers on "Chronos Rulers," those who fight the time-eating demons that appear when people wish they could turn back time. The Chronos Rulers fight a time-manipulation battle against these demons. (ANN, edited)

Jikan no Shihaisha is drawn by Taiwanese manga author Jea Pon, and was originally published as a one-shot in Shounen Jump NEXT magazine in April 2012. The manga has been serialized in digital magazine Shounen Jump+ since March 2015.

The plot and character developments matter very little for this kind of series. I want flashy fights, grandiose settings, and just pure stupid fun. Chaos dragon failed at those so i hope the guys behind this would learn something from that.

Well, I do have a thing about magicians (not spellcasters) so I'm kinda biased. But let's say that the main characters are very lovable and fun. The art is awesome. The time-related attacks and monsters make even the cliche plot developments pleasurable.

In short, it's definitely worth watching, and it'll probably be among the top of the season but it will still be quite far away from the top shows in general.

I remember reading this awhile ago, vaguely remember it but kinda surprised this is getting an anime. Eh, the staff doesn't look impressive so I'll keep expectations low.
