Otome Game 'Kenka Banchou Otome' Gets Short TV Anime for Spring 2017

Visual novel publishing company Spike Chunsoft has opened an official website for a short TV anime adaptation of Kenka Banchou Otome on Friday. Titled Kenka Banchou Otome: Girl Beats Boys, the anime will air in Spring 2017 with a duration of 10 minutes per episode. The cast members will be reprising their roles from the game.

The original Kenka Banchou Otome game is about an orphan named Hinako Nakayama who was picked up by a twin brother. She has to attend all-boys school full of yankees named Private Shishiku Gakuen for him. In this adaptation, the heroine can join the quarrel battle, which is different from most of the otome games. The anime will also feature original characters.

Hinako Nakayama will be voiced by Hibiku Yamamura. It has also been announced that the series will premiere on April 12, 2017 on 22:30 via Tokyo MX and 24:00 (13th at 0:00) via Sun TV. The announcement was done via event today on February 22, 2017.

They have fighting matches. It's just pressing buttons though similar with rhythm games without the rhythm. We might get to see actual matches in the anime though.

I saw a cute fanart of this show in a Yaoi forum months ago. I've been looking for them for weeks, and then gave up, thinking it was just OCs of some artist. Glad i was wrong!
I'm gonna watch this. Sadly is a short.

Happy to get anything related to Kenka Banchou Otome after enjoying the game so much! A bit sad that it's only 10 mins, since the material is great for a full length anime. But I am optimistic that this will bring popularity to the series and people will check out the game and we will get more merch for this.

This is getting a short but Nil Admirari is probably going to get a full anime while Code Realize's anime is nowhere in sight. And I'm sure those two are going to be sub-par since it's Otomate anime.
