Also @Fai , is the original manga really all about girls talking and such? I think that wouldn't really be very interesting in a sense... I guess. I'm just wondering on that of course xD
I mean the title is literally "Interviews with Demis".
There is some comedy here and there but at the main focus is pretty much teacher talking to his Demi students about their social issues and problems, with each mini-story-arc focused on different problems. It covers wide range of topics like prejudice, social complexes, depression, harassment, identity issues, etc.
Its mainly stuff like this:
Well now that I look at it, in a way, this doesn't seem bad as if it does touch realistic stuff, I mean as long as its entertaining in a way, while keeping those topics it wouldn't be that bad.
Also is it very wrong that I prefer the anime artstyle than the manga? I mean the manga artstyle isn't actually bad, don't get me wrong, and no it's not towards my bias for moe either... But I dunno, I think the anime artstyle looks nice (although better polished in a way than the previous character designer has done since the prior one didn't really look well with the texture or at least the hair detail bits for some of its cast)

- It seems the show is choosing to to play up the "moe girls are moe" aspect, which creates a fake illusion of this being a "fanservice show" like MonMusu, when in reality this is pretty much a talking show of characters discussing social anxiety and inclusiveness issues.
- The directing feels very dry so far. Lots of still shots, lots of moving mouths, lots of "default" camera angles.
This really could have benefited in being adapted by SHAFT. They know how to do and direct long lasting dialogue scenes and make them interesting.
I mean if they actually do stick to the actual source (which I doubt they will...)
The VA choices are in places baffling too. I can't imagine Girlish Number's Yae's voice to sound like Hikari at ALL. Too cute, too "normal" too subdued.
Its sad really as I quite liked the manga of this. But hey, at least they did not "prettify" the MC.

That's just seems too realistic for anime.
the the whole point my friend...
@Fai
i am strangly agree with you now, i can't defend that this series kinda letdown... the staff and VA doesn't really look promising... but hey, i hope they can still pull it of something good like working or gin no saji or space brother... the lack of source really make me affraid they will drag this...
and A-1 it self already done plenty series already make lot talking-rely series, and visual is not main point of this series, so i doubt shaft will be any different (other than visually), but my main concern is the staff it self...
