Staff and Additional Cast of TV Anime 'Youjo Senki' Announced

The "Overlord x Youjo Senki" joint press conference has announced project staff and additional cast members for the upcoming Youjo Senki TV anime on Thursday. The series is scheduled to air on January 6 at 10:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi and BS 11. Abema TV will also be streaming the anime.

The story centers on a little girl who fights on the front lines in war. Blond hair, blue eyes, and porcelain white skin, she commands her squad with lisping voice. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff. But in reality, she is one of Japan's most elite salarymen, reborn as a little girl after angering a mysterious being who calls himself God. This little girl, who prioritizes efficiency and her own career over anything else, will become the most dangerous being amongst the sorcerers of the imperial army.

It would be mighty embarassing if NUT screwed up their first show, let's hope it's good.

Can't honestly predict if it's good based on the staff, but the manga adaptation of the LN was a lot of fun to read. The art had a lot to do with it though, not to mention that the idea of a sociopathic salaryman reincarnating as a loli wizard is hilarious to me.

The key visual looks a little offputting but hopefully it does not turn out too badly. I mean it is a new studio working on this project, so I have nothing to go on as far as quality is concerned. The staff working on this are alright for the most part, although they could have been better. I just hope they don't shove military jargon down our throats since this series is gonna be chock-full of it.

NUT is a new studio spun off from the production division of another studio named Chiptune, which had changed its name from 8bit Rocket in July 2015. (8bit Rocket and 8bit are different businesses.)

Chiptune provided animation assistance on To LOVE-Ru Darkness, One Punch Man, and Endride.

Hmm the staff looks promising a lot, especially the director which he previously directed Punchline (and that series turned out to be pretty good in a way for me), series Composition looks decent, although saying Ajin isn't much but I heard that the Ajin manga was handled decently adaptation wise, so.

When I see Ryouma Ebata in this, I actually will scream because I love this guy a lot. He did animations from different anime OPs and EDs (mostly 8bits and 3hrz around imo from what I can get), so I'm kind of curious how will be fit on this of course, honestly.

As for the rest I can't really keep up much, but holy shit that's a lot tho in one but, at the same time I see some interesting staff members mostly in the sound/music department. I mean sound director from Alderamin and Music Composed from Overlord (I might not like Overlord that much but the OST for that was good).

Other than that, decent staff members, but I do hope its pretty good, as long as it entertains me and gives me some pretty solid stuff as well on my end, I'm satisfied. Though the visuals are, well Key Visuals for the Poster tho... well. ^^U I don't have an issue with this honestly, that much.

Edit note: By the way the studio's name Lmfao I just noticed this name. Studio NUT. Holy fuck I'm dying.

But jokes aside, this is a new studio since they only have one show from their end, so this is their first debut. If it is their first debut, well, I hope it goes well for them honestly xD
