'Hunter x Hunter' Returns to Indefinite Hiatus

The July 4 issue of Weekly Shounen Jump will contain the last scheduled chapter of Hunter x Hunter before the series returns to indefinite hiatus.

In March 2016, the manga resumed serialization after a hiatus of 2 years, due to mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi's chronic health problems. Volume 33 was published on June 3, 2016, approximately 4 years after the previous volume, and sold 650,817 copies in first week.

The manga was previously adapted to two TV anime, the first in 1999 and the second in 2011.

If he has some respect for his work, he should let other people to draw for him and just focus on the story. This last episodes have been not so good when it comes to the storytelling and the art was terrible in my opinion. He could write only the story and the characters, just leave the rest to others and let HxH reach its full potential.

Rip hxh, favorite series of mine, started watching the anime half a year ago and fell in love with the amazing story and characters but sadly this is the end, goodbye!

Why is this not a surprise? Seriously, Togashi should just retire from drawing and write the story and let someone else draw instead.

The running joke as they he only ends his hiatus when his yearly Dragon Quest subscription expires, so he has to get off his butt and draw a few chapters until he has enough money for another yearly subscription. His wife maintains his lifestyle in the mean time with Sailor Moon. So until next time I suppose.
