New 'Yu☆Gi☆Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions' Cast Members Announced

The official site for the upcoming Yu☆Gi☆Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions movie has revealed additional cast members that will be featured, as well as the character designs for their respective roles. Kento Hayashi, who was previously announced to voice Aigami, is also included. The movie is expected to premiere on April 23, 2016.

Aigami (Kento Hayashi) (Live-action Arakawa Under the Bridge)

Sera (Kana Hanazawa) (Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou)

Mani (Satoshi Hino) (Mayo Chiki!)

The new Yu☆Gi☆Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions movie was announced in December of last year to celebrate the manga's 20th anniversary. The movie will feature original characters from the franchise, such as Yugi and Seto Kaiba, and will be set six months after the story in the manga. The original creator of the Yu☆Gi☆Oh! manga series, Kazuki Takahashi, mentioned that some of the monsters, as well as characters, will be redesigned.

Haven't really watched anything since Yugi was the main character. Might check this out.

Don't know if people don't realise or something, but this new movie is set after the last chapter of the original yu gi oh manga. Basically a direct sequel. All these announcements are for side charas.
On a side note... HANAKANA!!!!

Is Arc V realy better then 5ds? haven't watched it yet, but reading that it's more based on entertaining duels then real battle duels seems weird to me.

You get used to it really quickly.

It's basically the same as riding duels. It's strange at first, but then it becomes cool.

While I haven't been into the franchise for long, I'm looking forward to how this movie will turn out; if it manages to do well, hopefully there'll be a "Bonds Beyond Time 2" with all five main protagonists thus far.

One thing, if the movie is really supposed to be more faithful to the manga, there's no telling how badly the English dub is going to butcher it (even Dan Green and Eric Stuart wouldn't save it). :-/
