Manga 'Mob Psycho 100' Gets TV Anime Adaptation in 2016

Shogakukan has opened an official website for a TV anime adaptation of its action comedy manga title Mob Psycho 100. The series will be produced by animation studio Bones and will air in 2016.

Mob Psycho 100 is drawn by ONE (One Punch Man). It began serialization in the Ura Sunday online magazine in April 2012. The series has 10 volumes in print, and an 11th will go on sale on December 4.

Synopsis
Shigeo Kageyama (a.k.a. "Mob") is a 8th grader with psychic abilities. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age, but he slowly began to withhold from using his abilities in public due to the negative attention he received. Now, the only thing he wants is to become friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic "mentor" (who has no psychic powers), he continues his daily life, attempting to realize his purpose in life. (Source: MangaHelpers)

I'm really exited for this anime, and I mean really. Bones and ONE? There is gonna be some good shit I'm telling you.

I am slightly interested on how studio Bones is going to change ONEs art style to make it crisper to animate. But, looking at the PV, it seems that they're ok with leaving it with some kind of rough aesthetic to it. So I can't wait to see what they do with it.

Holy shiiit, ONE DOMINATION!!!!! Artstyle shouldn't change too much because ONE's art has improved heaps especially when compared to earlier ch of onepunch man.

I've seen people saying that they wished this manga blew up as much as the OPM manga, so I'm glad for those people now.
I've been interested in the manga for a while, so this is a definite PTW for me.

Guess that's because it's his first work that he actually gets paid for. I believe he has a quota to meet there. Anyway, maybe all this attention makes him even more serious about being a full time mangaka now :)

I would be more surprised if he isn't already one. He should be getting money for the remake volume sales. It would be really tough to juggle OPM and Mob psycho 100 as well as a job. But yeah I find it amazing that OPM is just a hobby.

he is indeed an unprofessional mangaka. he is actually a normal worker that draw manga for hobbies and posted OPM in his site as webcomic. doesnt mean the content childish BTW.

The only one that we know for sure with season premiere is Akagami Shirayuki-hime Season 2 (Winter 2016). Concrete Revolutio is rumored to be a split cour.

Ace attorney also will likely be bones since they did the cutscenes for the games.

I'm afraid it won't be Nagasaki and BONES. He's busy with HeroAca at studio C, and with this schedule, I guess HeroAca will air in Spring, SBR in Summer, and Mob Psycho in Fall.

Studio B : Akagami (Winter)
Studio C : HeroAca, rumored to be collaboration project with Studio A (Spring), Conrevo S2 (Spring ?)
Studio D : Bungou (Winter), SBR (Summer)

I heard Nagano P at Studio B will handle Mob Psycho, so it's possible if we get Natsume and his gang back to BONES.
