Cast of TV Anime 'Dagashi Kashi' Announced

A scan of Shogakukuan's 51st issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday, to be released on November 18, is revealing cast members and theme song information for TV anime Dagashi Kashi.

Hotaru Shidare: Ayana Taketatsu (High School DxD)
Kokonotsu Shikada: Atsushi Abe (Bakuman.)
Yo Shikada: Keiji Fujiwara (Baccano!)
Saya Endou: Manami Numakura (The iDOLM@STER)
Tou Endou: Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Nanatsu no Taizai)

OP: Checkmate!? by MICHI (Rokka no Yuusha)
ED: Hey! Calorie Queen by Ayana Taketatsu

Shigehito Takayanagi (Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai) will direct the anime at studio Feel. He is also in charge of the series composition with Yasuko Kamo (Tokyo ESP). Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.) will design the characters. Satoshi Motoyama (Death Parade) is directing the sound, which will be produced by Pony Canyon.

The series is set to broadcast in January 2016.

I think she can do an excellent job. She was the one who voiced female Gintoki after all. That was one of the most entertaining voice acting I've seen, especially when she had to constantly switch from serious to comically annoying

Overall I'm quite happy with the choices expecially with Shigehito Takayanagi (Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai) as the director and with Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.) who will design the cracters!

Abe fits Coconutsu.

Keiji as Yo will be fucking amazing. He does the comedic dad roles so well. I honestly cannot fucking wait.

Manami has a good variety of voices and I think there are a lot of different voice styles that would fit Saya. So I think she'll do a good job no matter what direction she takes it. I trust her.

Tatsuhisa will be great too. He's awesome when it comes to those hilarious annoying bro friends like Yuuji from Baka Test, Ban, Haru. So he's going to fit the role of the obnoxious best friend perfectly in this show.

I have my hopes up. You were the one who started the thread with the Key Visual + character designs showed. Those designs looked amazing. I legit laugh every time I see them because they matched their crazy facial expressions so damn well they look straight out of the manga.

Don't worry it will be good, I used to hate her because she only gets tsundere imouto roles that always ruin whole shows, until i played PSO2, trust me she has the talent to pull off a beautiful voice, rest depends on director though.
