Special Episode of 'Working!!!' Announced

The official Twitter account for the Working!! series has announced that an additional episode of the third season, titled Working!!!: Lord of the Takanashi, will be broadcast as an hour special. A promotional video was released together with the announcement, which aired at the end of today's broadcast. More information will be announced later.

The original four-panel manga is written and illustrated by Karino Takatsu, and was serialized in seinen magazine Young Gangan in December 2004. The series ended in November 2014, with thirteen compiled volumes. In 2015, the manga received a six-chapter sequel.

In 2010, Working!! received a 13-episode TV anime adaptation by A-1 pictures, and it was then followed by a second season in 2011. The third season began airing in July 2015 and concluded this week with thirteen episodes.

NIS America released the first two seasons for North American release in 2010 and 2013, respectively.

oh maaan i knew it will come someday :(. but that was just TOO SOON for me. When i was closing in to episode 13 i had my F*** hopes high in the skies.i thought that it will be 24 episodes. I was way too happy when the anime hadn't that much progress in the story. deep down i felt like that's working that what they do "we'll probably get more". i really hoped for the best, ) so yeah anyway deep down in my heart i knew there will be MORE working, BUT also we are really close to the END(( -i HATE that word-

and then after S3 finale i was supriesed with the one hour special. don't get me wrong i'm happy i was so happy when i knew about it,
but but after realizing IT IS THE END OF WORKING. i only thought why it has to end like this. It feels soooo EARLY.
i'm in love with this anime and seeing the other comments about the manga being FINISHED. that just.. it's just like the final punch in my face to tell me the anime is OVER i just can't accpet it :( none of my comment make sense but i think there's someone who'll understand me

but it's not time to get sad. at least not know. we still have one HOUR special thst'd movie-like length so we must have our hopes that it will fit in our beloved working series and it will not be a complete fuck up which i don't think it'll be

i'm so hyped can't wait for it

Hopefully the whole fantasy world theme is symbolic of the journey to get Takanashi and Inami together, and ends with like 10 minutes of their real world finale. I'd be pretty annoyed if its just themed that way for the gimmick and does nothing to really wrap things up.

This is the last episode of Working!!! There is no more source material coming out. Manga is officially finished.

It sounded like the manga ended, so there probably won't be a season 4. All good things end eventually, sorry about that :'(

i will have to hold off on watching this for a while after its out sonly to help hold me till we get season 4 when there is more manga so i figure a year should be good to watch this then it would only be a year ro 2 after hopully we get season 4

I think people are just confused with teaser as it's made the same way as Poplars dream. I bet it was made just to troll us a bit and we'll get normal story for the most of it.

THANK YOU. I would not be as hyped as I am now without this.

On topic: This 1 hour special better give me the kind of Inami x Takanashi conclusion I want or else tables everywhere are going to be flipped. You have no idea how mad the last scene of episode 13 made me.

It was too obvious for people. Due to that they didn't understand that the real ending is in the special one hour episode.

Looking forward to this special! More Working!! is always welcome.

don't really know what to say it looks pretty fun but not something i'd expect from Working!! , i was hoping for a Takanashi x Inami special instead , since the ending really disappointed me
