NY Times Manga Best Seller List for Jul 26 - Aug 1

Pretty impressive considering TG has been the only new title since last year to chart in the top 3. (not including Naruto, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past or SnK)

Well, the art for aot vol 1 is not eye candy looking so I'm not surprise that some people didn't bother getting the other volumes especially people that are New to manga.

The majority of folks that are buying the manga actually watch the anime already.

Wow, still no Prison School guess most are all talk and not buying it (I got volume 1)
Kinda shocked to see Devil is a Part-timer, I mean it was a decent anime but didn't think the manga would sell that good.

Hope to see Spice and Wolf LN in top 5 later this month same goes for Highschool DXD or maybe even Dungeon for a change.

After looking at this list for many months now I seriously have to ask where the second volume of shingeky is?
Is there such a big gap between the first and second volume in yearly sales reports? Are people just waiting for something that they don't buy any other volumes?
