'Gakusen Toshi Asterisk' Main Cast Announced

The official website for Gakusen Toshi Asterisk (The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water) has announced the main cast, along with their character designs. The website has also announced that Shiena Nishizawa (Kantai Collection: KanColle) and Maaya Sakamoto (Tamayura) will perform the opening and ending themes, respectively.

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk is an action-fantasy story written by Yuu Miyazaki and illustrated by okiura. The series was first published in September 2012, and its eighth volume was released on May 25 and sold 7,457 copies in its first week on Oricon's sales rankings for May 25–31.

A TV adaptation will air in October directed by Manabu Ono (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) and Kenji Setou (Saki). Tetsuya Kawakami (Sword Art Online) will be directing the animation as well as designing the characters, which will take place at A-1 Pictures. Rasmus Faber is in charge of composing the music, which will be produced by Flying DOG.

As long as it is not Yuki Kaji, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, or Natsuki Hanae voicing the male lead, I am very fine with this. Their voice are too common now.

I know Kirin is supposed to be the youngest of the cast, but looking at this they might have overdone it too much,. Hopefully it will look better once the anime airs.

I read the LN and the Manga, I think it's Get an 'Okay'. Hope the Anime will Became a Good Anime.

Not attempting to flame, I simply didn't know. My caring for voice actors only goes so far as "I like her voice" or "oh cool, ___ has the same voice actor as ___", so I'm a little out of the loop.

For me, it's like following a celebrity so it's much more than just "oh they have the same voice" but like, I actually read facts and watch their real life events :P
