Anime Adaptation of Monogatari Series: Final Season's 'Owarimonogatari' Premieres October 2015

According to a notice displayed at Shosen Book Tower in Akihabara, the anime adaptation of Monogatari Series: Final Season's Owarimonogatari will air on TV in Fall 2015. Production of the series was hinted last week when animator Hiroko Kazui listed Owarimonogatari on her online portfolio. In 2012, animation studio Shaft announced it would be animating all of Nisio Isin's Monogatari Series novels.

The annual Tanabata Museum exhibition featuring art from the Monogatari Series opens today at Shosen Book Tower and will run through July 10.

Damn it! I still have to watch Monogatari Series: Second Season! Looks like it's time to get off my lazy ass and start watching. Or I'll just start from Bakemonogatari and go from there as a refresher course before Owarimonogatari comes out.

Yeah so I assume the "timing" has something to do with Koyomimonogatari. Good news though, so Owai will be like Bake or Nise. Which fits I guess.

That includes Ougi Formula (seems to be airing entirely on October 3rd as a special), Sodachi Riddle, Sodachi Lost and Shinobu Mail.

Scripts for the last book's adaptation are complete but they're looking for a better timing to present those stories.

Almost done with Nisemonogatari and heading Black Tsubasa and Monogatari S2. I will watch it all before the finale comes.

I also hope that this will increase the interest in sending the novels stateside. Kizu is coming here in November after all.

From what I've read on some comments around the interwebs, Nisio changed the book's original name from Tsugimonogatari to Orokamonogatari.

No it's not.
First season: bakemonogatari, nisemonogatari, nekomonogatari (+kizumonogatari which hasn't come out yet)
Second season: monogatari second season + hanamonogatari
"final" season (there are going to be more books that he is going to write): tsukimonogatari, owarimonogatari, some other stuff I don't know the names of.

i have waited, i will never get enough of monogatari and when it ends i will be very sad.

i think this series is the only one i would rate a 10, most stuff is pretty dull these days (oh and shingeki no kyojin)
