Fourth Season of 'Uta no☆Prince-sama♪' Announced

Uta no☆Prince-sama♪'s official Twitter announced that the anime series will receive a fourth season. More information will be announced later.

The series' third season aired in Spring 2015, and the last episode was broadcast on June 28. Four days earlier, the single Evolution Eve by Quartet Night (Reiji Kotobuki, Ai Mikaze, Ranmaru Kurosaki, Camus) was released, and it ranked 3rd in its first week on Oricon's Weekly CD chart. A piano book has also been announced and is expected to be released on August 10. Among other songs, it will contain sheet music for the newly released single and the third season's ending theme, Maji Love Revolutions.

Based on the original otome game developed by Nippon Ichi and released on the PlayStation Portable in 2010, Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ received its first TV anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures in Summer 2011, followed by a second season in Spring 2013. In addition to the anime, the story has also been adapted into two manga series. The anime franchise is currently licensed by Sentai Filmworks in North America.

That's literally what I've been thinking once I started season 2.

It's not even plot, or sometimes not even the songs, anymore. It's the goddamn fanservice and sparkly glitter boys...

But hey season 1 still better than all the following seasons put together xD

Going to be a shitty trainwreck like Blue Sky calling it now. Cause too many characters crammed into a 12 episode season. Season 3 was already entering bullshit territory. The first two seasons were really really good though they should have just ended it there.

Performing at the Dome is not impossible for Utapri XD maybe next live. Being invited to Kouhaku on the other hand... is a futile dream

BTW Love Live has their 2nd generation now , aqours (aqua) .. and it will receive an anime adaptation this summer 2016 so far from over.. maybe another 6 years or more <3

utapri has a very strong seiyuu cast, that's why. LL had a few newbies in their cast and only 2 of them i consider good singers (rin and umi's seiyuus)

and yeah, it does but aqours doesn't have a game yet so i don't see it going far when IM@S has everything

what you said for the µ's cast was true back 2010 but not now.. each of them can reach top 10 oricon effortless as a solo artist, while a few of them already reach top 5 of oricon (mimori - umi, nanjolno - eli, rippi - rin)

As for the im@s comparison, if your standard is the game then yes im@s is superior but the thing is µ's specialty is selling their songs and albums. µ's is the top 8th best selling musical act of 2015, the only idol anime group that was invited at kouhaku (red and white competition), music station and the 1st idol anime group that will perform at tokyo dome. Really depends on your perception though (y)
