Light Novel 'Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut' Gets TV Anime Adaptation

It was announced as part of the GA Bunko 10th Anniversary that light novel Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut (Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle) will be getting a TV anime adaptation.

The light novel series is written by Senri Akatsuki with artwork done by Ayumu Kasuga. The main staff for the upcoming series have also been announced.

Synopsis
Lux, a former prince of an empire named Arcadia that was overthrown via a rebellion five years earlier. Lux accidentally trespasses in a female dormitory's bathing area, sees the kingdom's new princess Lisesharte naked, and incurs her wrath. Lisesharte then challenges Lux to a Drag-Ride duel. Drag-Rides are ancient armored mechanical weapons that have been excavated from ruins all around the world. Lux used to be called the strongest Drag-Knight, but now he's known as the "undefeated weakest" Drag-Knight because he will absolutely not attack in battle. After his duel with Lisesharte, Lux ends up attending the female-only academy that trains royals to be Drag-Knights. (Source: ANN)

you're over exaggerating things by a lot. But yes, that's still cliché. And it's especially bad to have it in a synopsis, since this has nothing to do with the plot. Seeing it in a synopsis means that they're trying to appeal to peoples wanting ecchi without trying to appeal for their plot, I'd say. Well, if the official synopsis doesn't have it, that's a bit different though~

Well, I'd have to look here and there, but Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance also had that part in the synopsis (the dude peeping a naked loli while she is taking a bath or smthg).

Is there no other LN? Like seriously, this is it? You could probably count on one hand the no of LN adaptions that didn't start off with the MC running into a naked girl in the first episode. I mean, for God's sake there has to be something that doesn't start off like that? Can't we just have that one...... just to see how it goes?

I swear i've seen this type of LN cover so many times before.

Anyways, it seems Like Lerche is getting pretty busy as of late with their shows, good for them.

I don't know if i'll be checking this one out though.

and i am just sitting here, waiting to watch it, and guessing for how many cliche will used. i love harem genre BTW, but overused cliche, recycled plot, and similarity character type still bugging me.

I'd rather watch the other Bahamut that will be getting its second season.
