Visual Novel 'ChäoS;Child' Gets Anime Adaptation

It was announced via live stream by Chiyomaru Shikura, the representative director of 5pb., that an anime adaptation of ChäoS;Child is in production.

The visual novel is the fourth series in 5pb.'s sci-fi adventure franchise, which also includes Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes. ChäoS;Child is the sequel game to ChäoS;HEAd, which was developed with Nitro+ and initially released in August 2008. It was also adapted into a TV anime in Fall 2008.

Described as a "psychological suspense" story, ChäoS;Child takes place in October 2015, six years after the events of ChäoS;HEAd. Abnormal events begin to occur in the Shibuya district, including mysterious deaths.

The tagline on the key visual (right) says:

If you are God, and the delusion becomes reality. About what kind of the noids you get?
Is it the sensual world? The despotic society? The destructive sanctions? Or...

ChäoS;Child was released for Xbox One in December 2014 and has also been announced to debut on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PS Vita on June 25. A demo version will be made available on March 30.

Just make it 2 cour. Just do. Because while the studio and staff of C;H were decent, the weight of being 1 cour was too much that it crumbled apart as the result.

Hmm i wonder why every one shits on the anime why not play the game in the raw or why not learn the jp language and play it in the raw.

A guy named Myashiro Takuru who is in the newspaper club and want to investigate the new gene murders. There's something else I could say about later but that would be a spoiler, but there are some "surprises" in this game.

And for people complaining about how Chaos;head is a trainwreck (no kidding, its main theme IS reality wrecking after all) well. IMO Chaos;child is better than chaos;head, but is even "worse" when it comes to this. (or better, depending of what you watch C;H and C;C for, since the mind rape aspect is the very purpose of the stories)
Chaos;head wasn't a trainwreck in any way for me and was pretty logical, but I was just ".........What?" (not in a negative meaning, but in a ".........Wtf?" one) in front of child.

Ah right. thanks for that. I guess I better back to the VN soon lol I hope the sequel comes to PC soon.

Why make an anime out of this? It was a giant flop in Japan (thanks to it being a freaking Xbox One exclusive. What a dumb move that was.) and no one likes Chaos;Head. Maybe they're just going with 'every VN in the series needs an anime because reasons' approach.

chaos head was actually pretty solid for a couple of episodes but it was a trainwreck the rest of the way
i still feel obliged to watch it though. It's a pretty og series lol
