Original Cast and Theme Songs Return for 'Digimon Adventure Tri.'

It was revealed on the Digimon Adventure Tri. official site that the original cast members will return to voice the Digimon partners. The opening theme song will also return, along with an insert song used in the original series. Cast members for the human partners have yet to be announced.

The 15th Anniversary anime sequel to the original TV series was announced last August and staff members in December. Digimon Adventure Tri. will premiere April 2015.

Actually, in a video Joshua Seth said that he'll gladly come back to reprise his role as Tai if he were asked to do it.

OMO it's like they read my mind! I was hoping that they would use wada kouji for the theme song performance, although I was thinking of a new song but considering his condition I can see why it didn't happen. Still pleased to have the original classic theme song make a comeback in all it's glory. Am not the least bit upset about it at all!!! Yay!!! Can't wait!!!

Exactly what I was hoping. Not really a fan of Butterfly but Brave Heart is simply one of my favorite songs of all times, and I'm ovewhhelmed by nostalgia everytime I listen to it. The only other thing that needs to be in this is Matt's harmonica theme.
What a great birthday present this series will be.

I don't really mind the VA's. I grew up with the Latin American dub, however, recently I watched the Japanese version on Netflix, and it took a whole lot of used to Yamato's voice and other character's voices who sounded completely different in the version I grew up in. Still, it'll be nice to hear the Digimons again.

I'm so so so excited for Brave Heart and Butterfly. Luckily, in the Latin American dub they used the original Japanese songs so this is major nostalgia for me.

original cast, finally i can hear the voice of tentamon again (TAKAHIRO SAKURAI) :) only here voice is familiar, other seiyuu is old, but here voice is one of the latest.
