Yes it is,Viz media releases their biggest franchise, but they don't release the weekly sales like NY does.

Click on the news link, Aot vol 01 has made 81 appearences on the NY Times list so far.
So while i cant say for sure that it made 81 appearances in a row its still a number you can take home with ya.

I don't see how SnK is any more or less deserving than any other manga that might appear on the list. It keeps ranking because people keep buying it every week. It's a simple as that.

No Food Wars again. Hoping it makes the list next month when the new volume is released, and the anime is gonna start soon too, so that should be a boost. o/

Sure there were always some tension between the fans of AOT and the ones that wanted it off the list, but these last weeks it feels stronger.

It's actually not any different than any other week. People/fans are just commenting: "lol AoT haters u mad" a lot more than usual. I love AoT but I do think there are other series more deserving of the spots it takes up.
