According to an announcement made during this weekend's Jump Festa 2015 event, a new Gintama TV anime will premiere in April 2015.

I don't read the manga so for me, all I want are fillers tbh.

Not gonna lie, that one episode is totally my favorite. Especially enjoyed it when they were uke-seme-ing on the motorbike. But I don't want any this season due to fujoshits getting crazy.

Totally Agree with LOAD, as someone who doesn't read the manga. . . FILLERS ARE EXTREMELY OK WITH ME!!! xD I Mean come on... Every Gintama episode is just PERFECT!

p.s.
I do however think I might read the manga aswell, just for comparison.

I don't know about that man..The way sorachi is building the shit up really gives off the vibe that it'll be the final arc.. I'd be fucking sad if that's the truth. Many fans who have been following the manga felt the same, all i can do is to hope that gorilla is just trying to pull a huge ass prank on us by pretending it's ending, like he always does. But i seriously wonder how the hell will he salvage the plot right now.. Especially in the latest chapter that

OMFG, yes! it was about time! best start to 2015!! but still makes me a bit sad, considering what's happening in the manga, for those who follow it! I just read some of it and t I was quite surprised! INTENSE!!! that Gorilla Sorachi-Sensei >.<

so is that serious arc still going? Doesnt this make it by far the longest one in the entire show? Man we might get an entire cour of it on its own, hopefully its actually as good as the hype says

Oh my God I'm so waiting for this. Always wondered if one of the endings shown somewhere between first and second season is real or just made for laughs but I guess it will be a long time before it's sure.

She has plenty of experience under her belt in some very notable anime. This isn't her first time joining the animation team for Gintama. It is however, her first at directing the entire thing. So she's not new to Gintama.

I just hope that there wouldn't be any fillers this season. And no extraneous Ginhiji crap, please.
