There was a small glimmer of hope a few weeks ago but it turned out to be a drama instead.

But at that time it only had...like 15 chapters or less? That's way too early. Even now it doesn't even have 20 chapters yet. Getting a drama CD this early is a good sign. And ranking here is a good sign too. We just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that it gets an anime one day. It would be a blast to see HanaKana voicing a fujoshi.

The manga is shoujo but has tiny hints of BL and yuri too. Though its mostly a shoujo manga. Its more comedy than romance and it's sort of like a parody of shoujo and otome games.

I didn't even know that a manga version of the list was existing ;O.
The list looks fairly interesting, all those titles I don't know about may be worth checking.
That's sure leagues above any fan-voted made manga list I've ever seen, so there was no doubt that it wasn't fan-voted, indeed.

Orange on the male list was quite surprising since it's shoujo, but still glad to see it ranked~

The list is judged by professionals in the manga industry, not fans. Hence, the large number of titles that are still obscure. Gives me plenty of new options to read though. If this were a fan ranking, I'd probably have read most of them already.

They rated Terra Formars No.1 two years back though... I'm not sure if the adaptation's the one making it look so bad. >.>

Whooo Boku Dake ga Inai Machi. It's quite the interesting manga because I so want the mystery to be solved. All the other ones in the male category that I'm familiar with I've been putting on hold. And hmm? I knew that orange switched magazines but I didn't know it was a seinen magazine...nice to see the males liking it.

Hmm I'm not familiar with any of the female's top 20...I guess if I ever finish catching up to all my manga and/or if I'm every bored and want to try something new, I can refer to these two lists.

I'm not sure why but newer manga tend to be strong on kono manga ga sugoi ranking.
SnK got 1st in 2011 ranking which is published about 1 year after SnK started

Glad about Koe no Katachi, All You Need Is Kill, and Gekkan - totally deserve to be on the list.

Happy about Giganto Makhia - the art is a fave.

Aside the titles lacking description and those I already know, interested in Hakobu no Chronicle.

I expected more from the Choice Lists, to be honest.
