Manga 'Gintama' Gets OVA

The 50th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shounen Jump will announce that Gintama will include an OVA bundled with volume 58, to be released April 3, 2015. The issue with the announcement is coming out on Monday. The tagline for the bundled anime reads, "It's time for all the Yorozuya members ...to wake up just one more time."

Given Sunrise still hasn't done an adaptation of anything since Binbougami Ga in Spring 2012 I'd say an OVA is likely all that's gonna happen for now.

The ANN article mentions that this is an unaired TV episode, which makes me think this will be an adaptation of chapter 312, which is the only one of the older chapters that never got animated. It seems the picture featured in the OVA announcement page is even the same as the first page of chapter 312.

Edit: It seems a scene from chapter 312 was showcased in the 2011 Gintama' official trailer, but the episode never aired.
