'Sengoku Musou' TV Anime to Air in Winter 2015

According to the Sengoku Musou Chronicle 3 event, an anime adaptation for the game series Sengoku Musou is scheduled to air in Winter 2015. A TV special adaptation was previously released this past March.

The Sengoku Basara trilogy was good, due to the mind numbing action in it, but this seems to lack that same feeling Sengoku Basara gave me.

I would have preferred an anime of Dynasty Warriors but oh well, I guess it's just natural that they think that Yukimura will obviously sell more than Zhao Yun, at least this is gonna be a show faithful to the Sengoku period not like many other works they have done lately.

This may be happening after the honnouji no hen, and therefore no Oda.
Rather, considering that the name of the game include "musou" I'm surprised to only see Honda Tadakatsu and not Tachibana Muneshige...?

Please note that it's only a part of the cast. There's obviously going to be more characters, like Masamune, Kagekatsu, etc.

Nobunaga (just like Shingen, Kenshin, etc) is out of question, though. He's long dead and might appear only in flashbacks. Hojo Ujiyasu isn't suppose to be here as well, but will be, since they decided not to add Ujimasa so far.

I don't think you were meant to, or at least not for the Pro IG animated ones.

yeah i know it was supposed to be over the top and stupid but like i didn't care enough even for the plot or characters. by serious, i mean just being invested in it.

good. sengoku basara was too much screaming, action and random powers for me.. :/ couldnt take it seriously

Come on. If there's no counterpart of Date Masamune in this, it may not be as exciting. But this particular sequel will probably concentrate more on Sanada clan.

i kinda hated sengoku basara but i loved the past three nobunaga anime (nobunagon, concerto, fool) so idk if i should watch this LOL. the cast doesnt really interest me either.

Japan should just adapt different, more interesting time periods every time for better variety...

live actions have done there been taiga basd in as afr bajc as the 900's
