It looks like they are doing half a volume (about 2 chapters) per episode which isn't too bad but the chapters for this manga, at least at the start, are huge so we'll see later on, not expecting it to be that bad of an adaptation though.
Well, episode 1 adapt the whole chapter 1 while episode 2 covered chapter 2 and half of chapter 3. Just have to see a few more episodes to get a gist on how the adaptation will go. I really hope all goes well for the adaptation since I really like the manga, I'm just lowering my expectations to prepare for the worst if it is meant to be since I've been disappointed a lot of times recently by adaptations made by studios other than Production I.G.

Hm, I just hope it won't be as bad as I expected to be, the second half that is. Cause I don't think they can just skip/rush through it well enough to get to the same ending as the manga in 22 episodes. Keeping my expectations low now that I've read the manga and knowing that some chapters will be skipped/rushed.

Kinda doubt they'll be ending the anime with only 22 episodes cause a lot will have to be skipped or rushed to hell and considering the pace the adaptation goes for the first two episodes, they're really taking their time with the materials. Did they really confirm that it will end with this 22 episodes season only or are we getting ahead of ourselves here? Cause I'm really hoping it's the latter.

The event announced that the manga will conclude in spring 2015, and the anime will run for two cours and adapt the manga through the last chapter.

Interesting how the anime will show the ending before the manga then (then again, not exactly sure about how it's being published so the volume might just come really late and the ending could have already been shown wherever it's being published already).
Sometimes the endings are at the same time but slightly different like Golden Time, probably due to the lead time for anime production. The anime may work from an outline.
Based on the tankobon we'll obviously get the anime ending first but it's like I was saying, not sure when it's published in the magazine so it might actually come first there.

ANN reports that the OVA will have an original story. A previous announcement said that the 22 episodes will completely adapt the manga which will end at the same time.

Sorry, I forgot to mention it. Amazon Japan also mentions that it will be original story.

Does this mean we're getting more than 22 episodes? Since it's a full adaptation and the anime will have ended by the time this volume comes out (unless this is like a 1 hour OVA or something that cover the ending).
