'Steins;Gate' Anime Short ONA Started

A new short anime series of Steins;Gate, titled Steins;Gate: Soumei Eichi no Cognitive Computing, started streaming today on October 15th. The anime is a collaboration with IBM's "Cognitive Computing" initiative. It consists of 3 minutes per episode and will have 4 episodes total. The first episode, which is titled "Cooking-hen," is already on the Japan IBM YouTube channel. English subtitled versions of each episode will also be released later.

I hope people pay attention to IBM's promotion of cognitive computing. It is an interesting step towards a more advanced practical weak AI, to compensate for the long journey towards strong AI.

It is a bit promoting an interesting approach to weak AI that IBM has invested interest in. The 'point' is to get the word out there, and this can easily be done in four three-minute-long episodes. For more info, consult your free, public scientific literature which you will not consult: and therefore your protest is entirely hypocritical.

That's kinda like if Ubisoft created a 10 minute cooking special for Assassin's Creed. I mean, yeah, I would get the satisfaction of seeing the characters again, but Jesus Christ, it would be extremely unnecessary. I could do without it. Not waste 10 minutes of my life watching an unneeded 'How to Cook Pasta with Ezio Auditore and Cesare Borgia Who Look so Kawaii in Pink Aprons' Special.

How is an OVA (expected), a movie and now an ONA milking it? I don't think these shorts will even net that much profit if any at all.

I.E: Omg, Oh my gosh, lol, etc. These posts are unnecessary. At least give it a little bit more flare. "Great, looking forward to it." / "Eh, I'll pass on this since it's just a thing to milk more money."

ONA = Original Net Animation. It is anime or series of anime that released online.
