I like anime more than drama but at least it's popular enough for a drama? :P I hope they'll decide to make an anime adaption when the are more volumes cauz I would totally love an anime ^^

Watched it all (since i have it on DVD) --
LOVED Ariake >W< Koji Seto fits him so perfect!! (in my opinion)
But i really didnt like Asuka's rival, Tonomine in the Jap Drama =A=
In the manga, he reminded me of Uryuu Ishida XD
I guess since I've watched Hana Kimi Jap Drama -- the guy who played Tonomine was the -gay- one...so i reaaaaally couldn't take him seriously as an Otomen which sucked D8
But nevertheless -- Tachibana is REALLY tan in the drama, isnt he? <cute>
teehee

I've seen the drama and I didn't think it was bad. I actually really liked it but I did get confused at some parts. I have never seen a J-Drama before but there were some parts that made me feel like I was watching a comedy, and some parts that made it seem like a live-action anime. Is all J-Drama like that? Those parts seemed a bit cheesy to me but I still liked it anyway. At that time there were no subs so I had to watch it RAW. Since I had read the first volume I figured I knew enough to follow the story in the episode. I did understand most of it except that there's a smallish kid that seems to follow Asuka and Juta later in the first episode and I had NO IDEA who he was supposed to be. Any one else know? (I did think he was pretty cute though.)

Deleted my old post here since I sounded so bitchy.

An anime would be great. I'll look into the adaption.

I'm a little nervous about the guy playing Asuka. Especially since I think really low of most of the actors that were in the japanese adaptation of Hana kimi. He'll definitely have to prove himself a good actor in Otomen, or else it will really fail as a drama (like how Hanakimi and H&C failed as adaptations--in my eyes)

An anime would totally be preferred, but anything Otomen related is <3

If the drama is successful, I don't see why it won't get an anime. I have to say though that if there WAS an anime adaption, it would get a crappy time slot and no one would watch it. If it were to get in the Honey and Clover slot, then it would be as Dexter says "Success!".

Do you mean Noitamina? it has it's pattern of ups and downs. and since right now it's in its "up" stage with Higashi no Eden, I'm afraid it'll be a "down" if they were to do Otomen next season -__-

anyways, back to drama, I've heard of Kaho (dunno about her acting skills tho), but who the heck is that guy playing Asuka?

Yeah, no one will watch the anime adaptation of a stupidly popular, award-winning manga series that has sold a couple million copies.

The manga's success does not always mean the success of the anime.

Yay, another shoujo manga adaptation! I can't wait for this :)

I also wonder if it will be a half-hour or full-length drama. I look forward to watching it.

noooooo~~~ T-T
why oh why it couldn't have been an anime adaptation? T-T
drama adaptations usually sucks. if it's one of those midnight half-hour shows, it's going to be horrible. but even if it airs during golden time, there's a chance that it'll still suck T-T
Otomen deserves better than this. T-T
