The Final Episode of Sengoku BASARA Is DVD Release Only [Update]

According to AT-X Shop, the episode 13 of "Sengoku BASARA" will be released as an OVA. It's separately packaged in the volume 7 of the DVD series and will be released on January 6th, 2010.

The episode 13 is a side story. Maeda Toshiie and Matsu visit Chousokabe Motochika, who governs Shikoku. They tell Motochika unreasonable demands from Nobunaga. Motochika rejects them and urges Maeda to betray Nobunaga.

If you want this, just watch the [DANCINGSAMURAIS] version of episode 8, It's a troll, and that's all it says the whole time, with some bad overdub...

I don't see how it encourages people to buy the DVD.

It just means it gets on the web a lot later than it would have otherwise, it's not like no-one will just rip the DVD anyway :S

o.O is this the new trend? I'm sure its in order to "force" you to buy the DVDs versus getting it online or something but still...I mean, unless the final episode has nothing to do with it. Still, seems silly though.
