I do admit the choices of YUGIOH, DBZ, Pokemon and Sailor Moon are unusual choices but you have to admit they probably were the most mainstream animes of the 90's you could say they really began the anime revolution. Yes anime was around before but it was still pretty obscure and an entire niche market compared to today.

Winning love by daylight
Never running from a real fight

With secret powers
All so new to her

DBZ,Yu-Gi-Oh and Ghost in a Shell. Everything else I don't like so those are the only three things I would be looking at.

I would have skipped that entire list, with the possible exception of Princess Mononoke which I haven't seen. Not one of them is a series worth watching after you finish puberty.

Whoa, the location is right by UCLA... only a bus ride away. I'll be checking it out for kicks since it's free admission anyway =D

No cyruz was right, about 400 items are displayed, they could easily be from the 7 shows posted.

I think it's actually a decent choice to gather non-animefans or potential anime fans, who wouldn't know about the non-hyped stuff. Though I would've skipped Yu-gi-oh! and probably Pokemon too. No wonder people think 'manga is for kiddies'.

Right, kinda missed that part and only read about the featured ones.

Well, they are screening 400 shows. One of them's bound to be recently made.
