Good grief, this anime cul-de-sac needs to come to an end. There are some pretty good shows out there that don't hit U.S. televisions, and I find that baffling. Dragonball needs to go away, it was a launching pad that pushed anime into the mainstream, but that was 13 years ago. The Mount Rushmore of mainstream anime in the U.S. today have been the same faces I remember a decade ago; Luffy, Goku, Ichigo, and Edward Elric...get these fossils out of here and inject some new life into Toonami's block! And not that crap where you run a show for it's season and disappears.
DBZ Kai has never been on American TV uncut and a -lot- of ignorance regarding it has been spread because of that (same with One Piece but that's died down significantly in recent years), if it were the old Z, I'd agree but Kai definitely deserves a spot.

Maybe they're bringing it back to save on money for newer shows? I mean, they got Blue Exorcist, Black Lagoon AND Attack on Titan within months of each other (and SAO had just finished its run), they were bound to be pretty low on money after all of those.
I'm not too thrilled about it either, and I was happy they finally got rid of Bebop, but hopefully they're only bringing it back as filler for a newer show they want to get (praying for Kill la Kill).
I don't care for DBZ, as long as it doesn't get an early time slot I'm fine with it.
It'd be awesome if Kill La Kill is included (still haven't seen it), but I doubt Toonami would have the balls to air it since it's got scantily clad women. I mean, they bleep the crap out of Black Lagoon's cussing just to play it safe. Plus, they edited the extreme gore in Deadman Wonderland--despite Toonami aiming for a mature/older audience--which made me not watch it at all on TV. And here I hoped that Hellsing Ultimate has a good chance of being aired (I hate censorship in ALL forms. It's a pussy idea then and now).

Hopefully they'll be airing the Buu saga with it.

Thoguh if that's the case I'd assume they'd air the Blu-Ray rip because Bebop in 1080p is GORGEOUS

I actually haven't seen Bebop, so I don't see why everyone is complaining.
Why have you missed the previous 20 times its run? Its been on constant reruns for years on Adult Swim. Theres no reason to waste a timeslot on it after they finally removed it last year... I was glad they finally would use its timeslot for something new.
Preaching to the choir there, Adult Swim has aired that series for the umpteenth time.

Luffy? I mean... Luffy? Not Naruto? One Piece never even became that popular over here...
