George Lucas Chooses Nishimata Aoi for Star Wars Art Book Project

According to the official blog, Nishimata Aoi (the character designer of "Shuffle!") joins the worldwide "Star Wars Art Book" project. More than one hundred illustrators from all over the world participate in the project, and Nishimata was chosen by George Lucas as one of the two Japanese representatives. She is in charge of Moe illustrations of Star Wars. The art book will be released at the beginning of 2010 at the latest.

Nishimata Aoi has been working on a collaboration with the agricultural association and promoting rice, beef curry, and sake by the labels with her Moe illustrations. The sales of the rice increased sevenfold.
