'Kimi no Iru Machi' Manga to End February 2014

A scan from the upcoming issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine reveals that manga series Kimi no Iru Machi will end in the magazine's eleventh issue. The eleventh issue will be released February 12, 2014.

The manga, created by mangaka Kouji Seo, began publishing back in May 2008. The series received a TV anime adaptation that began airing July 2013 and ended September 2013.

It was previously announced that the manga's 27th volume would include an OVA that was "an inspired episode, produced with the help of the series' mangaka, Seo Kouji." The scan from the upcoming issue has revealed that the OVA bundled in the 27th volume will be adapting the manga's ending. The 27th manga volume will be released March 17, 2014.

I really fell sad ... I had been reading it when I was 12 years until now 18 years .. I hope the new series from the same director ( Fuuka ) be as good as kimi no iru mahci and suzuka .

a) A lot of us follwoed it for a long time.
b) Somebody with a Kirito avatar and such favourites shouldn't judge people's tastes.
c) Maybe we even like reading bad manga because we find it funny?

Finally!

after he went to kochi the manga got extremely boring....no big drama or something else...to less from the other Characters....and much too less from Asuka...

every time i thought...FINALLY the next chapters will have a big Drama everything has calmed down again -.-"

Kimi no Iru Machi needs to stop because Seo Kouji write new manga and the story is too long, make boring for reader when no interesting episode appear

Finally!

Started reading this when the first chapter came out. Got to the first Tokyo arc and dropped it for two years due to Eba rage (back when Haruto actually was a decent MC). Picked it back up and breezed through 150 or so chapters in the last month, and all the while cursing because Haruto went full retard throughout those chapters. Up to now I still think he's retarded.

Expecting much from the ending, even if its only three chapters left. If Seo Sensei has any inkling of appreciation for the fans, he'll have to fix the shit he keeps pulling out of his ass properly.

finally after wasting some of my time after all of the crap that happened after the tokyo arc..it comes to an end. . .i hope this manga has some closures to it in the end! i wouldn't go for open endings..cause that will give ****ing feels behind or bad taste

I just started reading this a while ago, still have lots of chapters. I guess that is good cause i will be able to read threw the end quick and not have waiting periods.

even though the manga has been dragged on for a very long time and the story has become very dull,i will actually miss reading the chapters every week.i hope seo does a good job closing off the story and filling in any loop holes in the story.i feel like it couldve gone a lot longer had seo found a way to make it interesting but it had to come to an end.

^I actually did stop reading for about two years, KNIM is in fact the only manga I've ever dropped. The only reason I started reading it recently is because I was in disbelief when someone said Harutard and Yuzushit broke up again. And I still can't believe Seo is so desperate that he has to repeat the same "break up due to long distance and get back together again" scenario for the finale. Then again, repeating the same shit for drama's sake is kinda Seo's forte.

And I'm not some guy who picked up KNiM from hearing rumors about it either, I was reading this manga since the first chapter RAW was out.

Whether it is happiness, laughter, sadness, or anger, it almost always evokes an emotional reaction. That says a lot, regardless of how much people "hate" it, most keep coming back and reading more. To add to that, they keep getting angry at Haruto when he does something stupid. If people didn't "enjoy" it, they would just stop reading, don't you think? There is something to be said for a story that can hit you in the pit of your stomach, even when you shake your head and think, "Not again!"

I started this manga when it only had ~20 chapters. I started hating this manga around chapter 60 or 70 (Tokyo arc). I dropped this manga during the Asuka drama.

I'm so very glad they finally decided to end this horrible manga. I thought it was just going to continue in an infinite loop.

Oh wow,this is finally coming to an end. I hope Seo will at least provide something remotely close to a conclusive ending as not to leave a bad taste in our mouths.
