Mangaka of 'Nodame Cantabile' to Release New Series

According to Kiss magazine's December issue, Nodame Cantabile's mangaka, Tomoko Ninomiya, will be starting a new series titled "Nanatsuya Shinobu no Housekibako". It will be in Kiss' January 2014 issue, which will be released on November 25, 2013.

"Nanatsuya Shinobu no Housekibako" is a story set in a pawnshop in Shitamachi and is about two people who are attracted to jewelry, Shinobu and Aki.

Shitamachi is the traditional district in Tokyo. Although it can be translated as "downtown" it is best kept in its original Japanese form with a note explaining what it is.

SEVEN SHOP: SHINBO'S JEWEL BOX

And Seven Shop (Nanatsuya) is an euphemism of pawnshop in Japanese.
