According to Natalie, Nanae Chrono's manga "Peacemaker Kurogane" will be resumed and Kemuri Karakara's manga "Donten ni Warau" will get a prequel titled "Rengoku ni Warau" (Laughing at the Purgatory). Both of these works will be serialized in a new magazine titled "MUCC: Jidai Katsugekiden-ZAN". This magazine is a collaboration between Animate and MAG Garden Beats. Its first issue will be available on December 24, 2013.

There will also be two special chapters of "Dontei ni Warau" and a one-shot of "Peacemaker Kurogane" included in the same edition. More information regarding the anime adaptation for "Donten ni Warau" will be given out as well.

The anime adaptation of "Peace Maker Kurogane" aired from October 8, 2003 to March 24, 2004, and the anime adaptation of "Donten ni Warau" was announced this past August.

I really enjoyed Peacemaker Kurogane as well and just the other day I was thinking about how I remember nothing from that anime. Quite interesting how it's going to be resumed.

Oh cool, it's not a sequel but now a prequel? Ahhh can't wait for more information to be released on Donten ni Warau's anime adaptation! So psyched!

Me too, I love the Donten ni Warau manga :D Since it's completed in Japan, I hope the anime will cover the whole story.

Yay a fellow fan ^^ it's only 6 volumes, they better get through all of it. My only worry is how they well they can follow the manga without cutting too much (like with Hakkenden, they fit 7-8 volumes for each cour and cut a lot of stuff out, albeit mostly the unnecessary parts but still). December come fast!

Not a big fan of historical theme series but the premise sounds alright I guess. Might give this a try and see how it. goes

Alright more PMK! I was waiting for this too bad there will not be an English release so I guess I'll just import and look at Chrono's wonderful art. xD

I hope someone does scans since it will be in a magazine!

^ According to Natalie, the sequel of "Donten ni Warau" is 煉獄に笑う Rengoku ni Warau (Laughing at the Purgatory). And it seems to be a prequel because the period is moved from Meiji period back to Sengoku period.
