Anime 'Seitokai Yakuindomo' Second Season and OVA Announced

The 46th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, to be published next Wednesday, October 16th, will be announcing that a second season of "Seitokai Yakuindomo" has been green-lit and will air January 2014. An OVA will also be bundled in a special edition of volume 10 of the manga. Volume 9 of the manga, which will be released on October 17th, will also contain an OVA in its special edition.

Seitokai Yakuindomo is a school comedy produced by GoHands and aired from July to September in 2010. Starting in April 2011, OVAs were released in the special editions of manga volumes five to eight, and later, three more as standalone OVAs.

P.S. Been reading enough manga to know that the comedy quality won't drop. Let's just see what new scenes we will see, if any.

This is a pure comedy genre. Why are some people expecting character development or a plot at all...? This anime series is arbitrary, do whatever the fuck it takes to surprise the audience with the most unexpected inappropriate jokes and make them laugh their asses off. Y'know the main point of comedy is to make the audience laugh not to engage them into some mystical story about a hero who saves the world etc etc etc.

Looking at availible options in this manga it would be horror ending - especially if Aria would be involved or, heavens protect, Dejima or Yokoshima-sensei.

When the author gets tired of this manga, I would say he will just introduce a graduation arc filled with yet more jokes of the same kind just with a graduation background, and then everyone would say goodbye to everyone (perhaps even the readers) with smile and humor and that's it. If he feels like it he could even add a few pages of epilogues, on how those characters still in touch with each other and have fun and joy as usual.

Hmmmmm, well, hopefully theres alot of content during their 2nd-3rd years, because it took just 1 season and a few OVAs for them to finish 1+ years. Which means that such a graduation arc ending might come pretty soon.

Well w.e, as long as they keep the anime coming till the end, I'll be a very happy man.

There is no actual romance development in this series, i mean, knowing its nature and content you really shouldn't expect any, i've read the manga and i can tell you this, expect alot of offense yet funny sexual jokes and the usual gag moments next to no character development or romance and alot of hilarious comments and jokes that'll make you question the sanity of the japanese lol
