Weekly Shounen Magazine To Reveal Kimi no Iru Machi OVA

According to an upcoming issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine, the 26th and 27th volumes of Kimi no Iru Machi will each bundle an OVA DVD. The staff and cast of the recently concluded anime adaptation will be returning.

The first OVA episode will be an adaptation of the special chapter 78.5, "Uchi ga Kita Machi" (The Town Where I Came), which was included in the 9th volume of the manga. The second OVA will be an inspired episode, produced with the help of the series' mangaka, Seo Kouji.

Volumes 26 and 27 of the Kimi no Iru Machi manga will be released on January 17, 2014 and March 17, 2014, respectively.

well i stated reading the manga it seems good atm i knoe the tv series and the previous ova's are trash but hasnt the manga ended? i wouldnt knoe im only up to chap 50ish >.< so i dont wanna watch any of the adaptions cause i knoe nothing's following chronologically from manga source material. idk

no the manga hasnt ended yet.it is still updating weekly to answer your question.

Well as Kimi no Iru Machi is one of my favourite manga series I am looking forward to this OVA. Though the anime series was pretty disappointing I hope the OVA will make up for it

agreed i really didnt like what seo did in the latest chapter.sure drama is good but why this.the manga series is also one of my favorite series and im still excited to watch the OVA of takashi,akari,and haruto meeting because i thought it was really funny for some reason but it was only a couple chapters in the manga so is the OVA going to directly adapt the manga or add things in like the last episode of the series which made it really bad.as of right now i have high hopes that the anime company with do the OVA right and yeah disappointed in the series i was expecting so much more when i heard it was getting an adaption.

I definitely agree with you. I am looking forward to this OVA but honestly I don't know if its me but I liked the art better in the 2 episode ova than the anime series. It looked more similar to the manga to me and I really enjoyed it. I have a feeling Seo is going to drag on the manga to make more money but honestly It would be better if it ended sooner although this is one of my favourite manga's and I would hate to see it end, it really should end or itll just suck.

i agree that seo couldve ended the manga series a long time ago but im kind of glad he didnt because i still enjoy the manga every much even though it wasnt as rage inducing/entertaining as before.i think after the latest chapter the manga in a way gained back its plot twisting/rage inducing aspects as the last chapter was just wow.i dont even know what to say besides wtf seo why this!however i think its a good thing even though it is painful to read it because seo knows how to attract the readers interest and making people so mad in my opinion makes them stay longer because they want to know whats going to happen next.if seo can keep coming up with problems like this it would suck but too much will make it boring again just like the constant amount of girls that like haruto.

Why do they keep encouraging Seo? He should really just draft up an ending and work on getting to it already, instead of going in circles, stagnating plot, and inserting forced, overused drama.

At least the first OVA is about when Haruto, Takashi, and Akari met, that was a really nice chapter.

Which probably means the second one is all fanservice and/or forced drama.

Melodrama is melodrama. No need to exaggerate it by coining new use of the cliche porn word. I would say how people want to put everything they dislike having too much as xxx pron is what is really hilarious.

Learn some new use of the cliched word "xxx porn" today .. Anyway, the manga is indeed dramatic but I guess it is roughly what a lot of teen TV drama do these days anyway.

The question is more how much fanservice will be in OVA as this is what usually gets boosted up in OVA and Kimi no Iru Machi is one series that has no lack of it so I'd say this is what fans are going to expect in the OVA.

Mixed feelings. I dropped the manga 2 years ago when it helplessly went out of track from a sweet romance into a slew of drama porn and tragedy porn. But at least i'm glad that the anime is pretty watchable as it's adapting my most favorite arc. might give the OVA a try if it's not as terrible as the previous ones

I'm just waiting for Kimi no Iru Machi to finish airing and now that it's finished I'm gonna watch it soon :D

Well, what do we have here?! More of Kimi no Iru Machi. Though this might not change any events from the anime. . I'll still look forward to this.
