Sequel of Anime 'GJ-bu' Announced

According to the recent update of the official site of "GJ-bu" today, the anime is going to have a sequel made. More information will be disclosed later.

Dammit. This was a good series with some very nice character designs. However, the idea of trip to New York could be quite interesting.

Wonderful news!

I loved the first season for its simplicity. The show just made me smile throughout the episode and leaves a fuzzy feeling in me.

Cant wait for the second season, glad the series got what it deserves.

Don't underestimate the popularity of GJ-bu too much though. There are many ways of making money from a franchise, and the following (look at the queue) is just one example:

That line is fairly impressive. I'm glad to see people supporting the franchise.

I would still like to see an anime adaption of GJ-bu Chutobu. I hope that isn't out of the question at this point.

OVA... oh welp.

Going to New York? I'd prefer a movie since that sounds like something you shouldn't stuff in 24 mins... but that probably won't happen.

I don't know. This show bored me to tears during its airing, mainly because many attempts at joke seemingly forgot their punchlines and left me with "WTF they're trying to pull?" kind of face. Probably its' because my taste of joke is a bit weird, but to be frank, this show just comes off to me as simple chat among its characters without anything else whatsoever, be it comedy, romance, etc. Maybe it would be a bit different if the male lead could react in hilarious way like Ken from seitokai no Ichizon (whom saved the show from being dull in various occasions), but alas, most of his reactions were so typical of one-dimensional, characterless harem lead, that is, boring as hell. And while the girls antics could make me giggle on some occasion, but thats' it, not the "HAHAHA" kind of laugh

Probably because only the sequel has been confirmed and there being no other information as to what it is.

Well, just having the "GJ-bu 2" page was good enough so we could put the series under the Plan to Watch list.
The title, picture, and everything else could be added or edited later on.

Romance would be nice, but even without it this show definitely goes into the fun-in-a-stupid-way category so it'll be just fine anyway to me
