Pucchigumi magazine has announced that a manga based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will start in its August 12th issue. Akira Himekawa (Nazca, several Zelda titles) will be drawing the title.

tbh, MLP always seemed like a Japanese thing to me. Surprised to find that it was an American Cartoon.

Still though, this adaptation is about as random as making a manga off of Spongebob. wtf?

That's modern life. Trend, fashion or fad, spread much quicker these days. If you want to tap into the convenience of modern life and not live like a hermit then you'd need to learn to handle "viral" stuff that does not please you.

Meh. It's good or bad but definitely not the end of the world. It is a pretty scary thought though, unimaginable even. But as long as there are the really good mangas, then all is well.

Don't assume I was using it in it's "interent" connotation. I observed, interacted with, and laughed at many people in that fandom who I can say with absolute certainty (based on that fact that I myself am autistic) had some form of autism.

Its still rather insulting and you can't really know for sure. Its annoying to diagnose people yourself. Allow doctors to diagnose people.
