New Crossover Movie of 'Detective Conan' and 'Lupin III' Due This December

It has been announced that a new crossover movie of "Detective Conan" and "Lupin III" named "Lupin III vs. Detective Conan: the Movie" will be released in theaters in Japan this December.

In March 2009, a TV movie named "Lupin III vs. Detective Conan" was aired and got a very high TV rating (19.5%).

This project is billed as the 60th anniversary project for Nippon TV and the 55th anniversary project for Yomiuri TV, and the story will be completely original.

The Lupin and Conan crossovers are golden, I swear to god.
Though to be honest I've always wanted there to be a Conan vs. Lupin vs. KID special or just more Conan vs. KID crossovers more than anything really

It has been recently announced that the key character of the movie and idol, Emilio, will be voiced by Miyu irino and inserted song (Emilio's songs) will be sung by 99RadioService.

Yesterday I watched the first crossover and I think it was a good and funny special. Like the most of you i wish also that there will be a lot more of rivality between Conan and Lupin ^_^

Muy bueno. December 7th works for me as long as we can get subs up asap. Wish I could see it in theaters, but I neither live in Japan nor understand the language. Still, along with the Captain Harlock movie coming out this year, I have a lot to look forward to.

This is one of the greatest things I've ever heard. I loved the first one. I'm really curious if it'll be a new episodic adventure, or a direct tie-in with the first one. Seriously, excellent news.

As long as it's just movies, I see no problem. It's not like they are making 100ep series all the time. Not sure what the quality of those movies are, but if they are close to the original series, I'd watch them.

Looking forward to this crossover though.

its the casting is this has as much as the organl cast as possible
while two of them aree dead if you g back to the Pilot aka lost filles the seiyuu were diffrent to the best know cast bring them back for Zenigata and Lupin that is
