Third Season of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Due This Summer

According to Bushiroad's press conference streamed on Niconico Live, the third season of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes was announced to be aired this summer. Two new characters will appear in the new series.

Ugh...this is slightly disheartening. There was still plot to uncover.

Ah well. A new cast could be a nice change of pace, as long as they keep it as funny as the first two seasons.

I'm not happy about this focusing on the kouhais instead of our usual Milky Holmes cast, I also don't like the fact that it's 12 minutes. But maybe I'll change my mind once the first few episodes are out.

I just wish we had another season of Milky Holmes being the moe idiots that they are. :(

It's a short featuring the two characters shown. At least it's 12 minutes long unlike a lot of shorts, you can tell an original short story in 12 minutes.

A good addition to the lolified Summer we are getting.

Glad they stopped making them alternatives (Although Sherl/Lily is goggle worthy, I still prefers HenSher~)
What concerns me is how 'serious' this show will be. :/

Really? Honestly, I didn't enjoy the second season all that much. Why does that deserve another season? Mondaji-tachi deserves another season instead

OMG YES! I've really missed the Milky Holmes characters and I thought we'd have to wait until 2014 for the third season (if there was going to be one) since season one started in 2010 and then the last season last year. But I'm really glad that it's going to be here sooner than expected, I might just make a note of how many times Kokoro scolds Sherlock for calling her Kokoro-chan this season just for kicks. ^^

On another note, I may have died even more at the fact that Aimi will be joining the cast, I love her duets with Suzuko. c:

The interesting thing is that the seiyuu actually got big because of Milky Holmes. They were all pretty nameless before it.
