According to Fujimishobo, light novel "Yusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita." (I reluctantly decided to find a job because I couldn't become Yusha.) was announced to get an anime adaptation.

Synopsis:
The story takes place in a fantasy world where the northern land of a continent has been ruled by a devil king. People who are qualified to be "Yusha" by a national exam will be sent to the devil king's land to combat the demons. Raul Chaser is the top student at the prep school for becoming Yusha when the Yusha system is abolished after one Yusha defeats the devil king. Raul struggled to find a job in the middle of the recession due to the fall of the devil king's kingdom, and finally he manages to become a clerk at a small magic item shop. One day, an applicant for a part-time job visits his shop. The girl, Phino Bloodstone, is the daughter of the defeated devil king.

Blegh, inevitable. Comparing Maou-sama to this is like comparing apples to oranges. Sure they sound kinda similar but one's an epic fantasy comedy about two demons trying to protect their worlds and the other's somewhat of a SoL romcom about a work-deprived hero working with the daughter of the guy he's supposed to defeat but can't anymore.

The only thing comparable is the fact they both work the register. That's about it.

Oh, and plot. Plot's going to be amazing in Yuusha ni Narenakatta.

You're not the only one. I also think the boob jiggling to be unrealistic and move constantly like water balloons but doesn't stop me wanting to try it.

A modern take of the term "maou" I guess? Even in western fiction, we see devils and vampires now appear in forms which are not traditional and look perfectly human most of the time.

Upon reading the synopsis again, i'm honestly curious as to why many LN writers have a knack to put "Maou" as the main heroines while these girls of supposedly demonic origin don't differ at all from your standard romcom heroine (Do they even have horns and slit pupils at all?)

Afaik "Sibuyu"...

From the official website, it is 「勇しぶ」 which means Yu-sibu (or just Yusibu) would be the nickname for this anime.

I'm about to add this to my list, maybe HMV will have nice bonuses if I'm interested in importing anything from the anime.

LOL I THOUGHT THAT TOO...the first time I read that read the Synopsis.

I dont know why some ppl compare this anime to "maou maoyuu yuusha" its completely unrelated.

"Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita" is a reverse setting of "Hataraku Maou-sama!". Both are about part-time job, one is demon lord girl and other is demon lord guy.

Hope this anime be as good as the other one. >:D
